If Swift wins, she would be the first artist in VMA history to claim Video of the Year three times. Rounding out the nominations in that top category are “Way 2 Sexy” by Drake featuring Future and Young Thug, “Shivers” by Ed Sheeran, “Brutal” by Olivia Rodrigo, and the 10-minute short film version of “All Too Well” by VMAs darling Taylor Swift. They’re both nominated for Video of the Year for “Woman” and “As it Was,” respectively.
Next in line with six nominations each are Doja Cat and Harry Styles.

Joining them with seven nominations is Kendrick Lamar, though most of his bids are in the below-the-line professional categories his only fan-voted bids are Best Hip-Hop for “N95” and Video for Good for “The Heart Part 5.” He’s tied with Jack Harlow, with whom he shares most of his nominations including Video of the Year for their collaboration “Industry Baby.” The only nomination they don’t share is Artist of the Year, where they’re instead going head-to-head against each other. Last year’s big winner for “Montero (Call Me by Your Name),” Lil Nas X, leads these nominations with seven total bids.
